Throttle Body cables queston

Got a first gen. There are two cables running to the throttle body, one has to be the throttle cable, what's the second one? and which on is which? I ask because the little plastic end on the one closer to the engine snapped. It's been repaired with some plastic weld (good stuff!), but I would like to know what I just fixed.

I believe one is the throttle cable from the pedal, and the other is the cruise control.

I'm pretty sure you are correct. Both are mechanical throttle cables, one from the gas pedal and the other from the cruise control servo.
The easiest way to see which is which is to disconnect them and then press on the gas pedal. The one that moves is not the cruise control.
