So yesterday morning, I get ready to go to work (waiting in my car for it to warm up). My brother is in his car parked right behind mine doing the same. Couple minutes later we leave and go our seperate ways.
I drive 15 miles thru city traffic to get to work. Not a single car flashed me or anything to let me know what was up with my car. I also didn't ride pass one cop car, which was different. I finally get to work and park, pop the trunk, grab my work stuff and close the trunk, when I realize my license plate is gone. I just thought maybe it fell off (it used to fal off before I got the correct screws and the squares).
So I go online to get motor vehicles phone number. Mf'ers r closed for the holiday lol. So I went back out to take the front plate off and throw it on the rear. To my surprise, that sh!ts missing to. I started laughing and one of my co workers was like why are you laughing if you don't have tags. Idk I just thought it was odd that people still steal plates.
Called the police and let them know what was going on and they kept asking me "you drove all the way there with no tags?" I just kept tellin them I didn't know they were off. I also let my mom know. She checked online to make sure I didn't have outstanding tickets or anything. All came back clear. She gets in her car and goes to the store, and when she turns the corner she saw "my car" at someone elses house.
So se called me and said "I thought u went to work today?" Told her I did and she said oh sh!t, I found your plates, call the police!" Gave them the address and all and they get there like a half hour later. This idiot lives right around the corner (walking distance, I mean toddler walking) from me and had his 03 ls in the driveway with my tags on it. I couldn't help but laugh at how stupidthis guy is to do that and not even try to hide the car[/B]

As I was reading your post. I kept thinking your tags were being used to cover up something illegal. Used your tags in a drive-by or a bank job. People can get stupid around the holidays.
