Have a few questions for you mark VIII gurus.

1. I think launching my car at the track has caused my rear window to crack in the same place on both sides. The sealant around the window does not look factory so maybe it was installed wrong. The rear window is tinted limo dark so maybe they were there before but I do not think so.

2. My keyless entry on the door is dead, it does nothing ever. I have been doing some reading on this and it my be related to the the other issues but in most threads you never hear if they ever got it fixed or what resolved the issue.

So along with the keypad being dead I also have no horn or speed control. Plus I have a 32 air bag light flashing on the dash. So this means that I either need a clock spring or the wiring under the seat is bad on the yellow connector.

Today I discover that my truck light will not time off, I opened it last night check for the factory code for the door and this morning when I go into the shed the trunk light is still on.

So is this related to above or a separate issue and can somebody tell me where all the proper or related modules are located for this system? I love picture if you have them.

The car ran great at the track, with only the jmod it was running consistant 15.23 with a 2.26 60 on some mickey drag radials. I let my sister in law race it because I could not be there Sat for time trials and she used to race a super comp dragster, she went to the semi finals in street trophy. About what I hoped.

Over the winter I will be doing 4:30's, trac lok, true duals, convertor and custom tune.

Speaking of dual exhaust, I really like the X-mufflers as way of both a clean install and saving some money not having to buy two mufflers for out back. Are they a good idea?

No horn, no cruise, air bag error 32 ... it's your clockspring.

Please look closely at the actual rear window. This happened to my '93. The window wasn't cracked at all. It's the window tint that starts pealing on either side of the window & it truly looks like the actual glass is cracking. Hope this helps.

I think you are right, its a line in the tint.

Any idea if these are related to the door key pad being dead or the trunk light not turning off?

I doubt it. The air bag error 32 is a bad connection to the air bag in the wheel. If your horn and cruise work it is usually that under seat connector which is not registering an ass in the seat. As you have lost the rest of your wheel electrics it's the clockspring. The door pad and trunk light are not involved in this.

The trunk light staying on is probably the mercury switch that lets it know its closed.

Disconnect it until you replace it.

ANyone have any input on the x muffler in the stock location for installing duals versus a standard x pipe with mufflers outback?
