First off, thanks for all the hardcore info. I just dodged a bullet today. Found a nice enuff car at a reasonable price. Started it up and chatted with the dealer for a while before heading out for a test drive. Went about 3 feet and the over temp message and maxed out temp gauge caught my eye. Darn! Good luck for me.

I guess I will be searching for a while. Is Kelley Blue Book a good reference for pricing these fine motorcars?

Thanks Mad Mac. I started my journey looking for a Mk VIII. Those great commercials with the golden wonder car really caught my attention years ago.
