Okay. I think this all started when I accidentally got some rim cleaner or tire shine on my roters. Maybe not but anyways my breaks started making the hissing sound a lot when breaking, kinda sounding like the indicators or something. So I was looking at this product called stop squeak by CRC. You spray it on the side of the break pad that doesn't touch the rotor. I took the pads out myself and did it. Hissing went away. Now after driving a bit and warming up the breaks I hear this squealing sound from the front right break when coming to a stop. Going from like 8-0mph. After this starts it sounds like I'm dragging something in the break at low speeds. Like you can hear the sound go from high to low until the car stops. Tomorrow I'm gonna go get some break cleaner and take 'em off and clean 'em. I just wiped then on my shirt before I reinstalled them the first time. Probably exactly not what I'm supposed to do. Do you think I may have not put them back on right? My stopping power has not changed at all and I feel no pulsations in the petal. Also my rotors were slightly flaking around the outer edge, I just brushed it off with my hand. Any suggestions before I take it apart again?

Bought some brake cleaner. Cleaned off all the brake parts. Re-did the stop squeal spray. I noticed I forgot to put something back on last time. A little piece of metal that sits in between the brake pads and where it rests on the caliper. It got dark out last time and I couldn't see where it went and wasn't sure if it was even part of it. Good thing I saved it. I only did a quick test drive but the noise is gone completely. Hopefully this is helpful to someone one day.
