I did a search but didn't turn up what I was looking for. Sorry if this has been covered before, if so, feel free to delete it.
I started the replacement of my valve cover gaskets on my '02 LSE 3.9 V8 last night. I got the passenger side off just fine, but when I went to work on the driver's side, I got hung up on the bottom rear fastener for the cover to get at the coils. I used a 7mm 1/4" drive with a u joint on the passenger side and it was a tight fit, but on the driver's side, there's just not enough space for the socket and u-joint.
I'll dig around and see if I can find a 7mm wrench as a last resort--not sure if I can fit my hand in there, but I'm darn well going to try. And noone has 1/4" swivel sockets in stock locally. =(
Are there any tricks to this?
Thanks.
