I have searched this forum to find out where I would buy "rays switch" and no luck....

Does Ray have a website?

Is their different kits?

Thanks!

In my opinion, the Ray's switch setup is nice for show/comp. But for a daily driver that you may want to adjust on the fly its not the best kit to get. There are two others for that. With the Ray's kit you loose the automatic leveling once you make an adjustment.

the module8/amashad8 vs rays switch argument #9071
the rays switch dosent mess with the load leveling sys, the ONLY adjustment is full down. when parked.
most buy the module8 and lower the car to wherever and drive it like that, and if need be they pump the sys way up (risking damage to the bags) the biggest prob i see with this is any movement of the ride height changes the alignment, sure you can get it set at any specific height, but isnt there 6 lights and 24 height steps, so next time you think your set the same and you could be up or down 3 steps. and i even wonder how many dont even get it aligned after installation.
i "sensor lowered" the car drooped it about a inch and a half (free), aligned the car (also free, im a tech), then later i bought a rays switch and installed it in 15 min (would of been 10 but im dumb and mounted the switch upside down.......) and set the car down, when parked. no alignment needed (unless you drive it slammed, :shifty: ray :shifty: )
so to end my rant i gotta say, ray all the way!!

Ah, ok. I thought I read that once the switches are activated the car's air-ride computer was sent to la-la land and no longer had any input to the vehicle height.

I have the Module VIII and love it. I often adjust on the fly while driving. I generally settle with one height, but if we get a ton of snow I will raise it for cruising/plowing around town. I know that is screws with alignment so its is best to find a height one uses the most and get that needed alignment.

I also noticed that when I am riding high the steering wheel is cocked to the right a bit but when at my "normal" height, its centered. Is that a sign of a bad alignment? There is no wear to the tires that I can see, yet....

funny about your steering wheel, more than likelly something with your rack (not bad more like normal) not sure
