Something new breaks with these cars lol. I just left work, took a right turn and my door swung open BAD!! It scared the hell outta me. It is like 18 degrees out so im hoping its just the cold froze a lock component or something. I check the handle inside and out work to release the clamp lock inside the door where it meets the metal bar on the car to lock. Its just thay the clamp in the door doesnt engage and lock when i shut the door. Right now im at a restaurant with my bro and i got a feeling im driving home holding the door shut lol.

I sprayed the lock mechanism with armour all it didnt help. Figured that may help...no dice.

Lol. I love these cars also, speed, comfort, and brain numbing-curse-inventing automobiles they are haha.

Spraying a probably frozen mechanism with a water based spray is always a good idea to free it up (sorry someone has to give you a hard time, lol) ;) :p

That happend to me once. It was the power lock actuator sticking. It wouldn't let the door lock fully disengage.

The lock has to be completley unlocked for the door latch to latch.

Try pushing the unlock switch a few times while pulling up on the manual lock. Once you get the lock fully unlocked, the latch should work.
