shoot me an offer :)

yeah... I have a western digital 80gig 7200 HDD in my PS2.

the program I have (that comes with it) boots up a special program on ps2 so you can copy/delete/rename/and play the games right off the HDD.

without said program, the PS2 will only recognize the Sony 40 gig HD that comes with final fantasy XI (and also wont let you copy games).

if ya have anymore questions let me know

I also am interested but I wouldn't know what to offer you. Lets throw some numbers around.

cool... shoot me a PM :)

BTW being that it can read from the HDD faster than it can the CD or DVD, it loads games noticibly faster and also (for vice city and san andreas for example) loads textures faster. Like when crusing real fast in a car and having a light post appear right in front of you, or having the road texture disappear (a common problem). This almost eliminates it

oh, complete list of games currently on it are:

007: nightfire
Dead to rights
Deaf Jam: fight for NY
Final Fantasy X-2
Gran Turismo 3
GTA: VC
GTA: SA
Jak and Dexter
Kill switch
Kill Zone
Leasure suit larry
Madden 2K3
Mortal Kombat deception
Midnight club 2 racing
Need 4 Speed underground
Silent Hill 2
Shell Shock
Smugglers run
Socom II (cant play it online though)
Tony Hawk underground
The Sims
True Crime

edit: having the HDD is also nice because it takes the hastle of searching for the game away. It also tends to make the laser last longer as it's not doing much work (except for when it initally loads the program)

ill shoot you $5, come on give us a hint here

Yeah yeah, just tell us what you want...

not really sure what to ask to be honest with ya. I have probably about 300 invested, but I'm sure no body would be willing to spend that much.

I don't know, like I said... make me an offer :)

hotrodlincoln93, anywhere from 70.00 to 200.00

Steve, could you please email me at JMcAlisternospam@gmail.com, without "nospam." I have a PS2 and a network connector, but would like to talk to you about the HD if you don't mind; specificially the software and if you might be able to get me a copy ;)
