problem with power truck lid

is it possible to convert my power trunk lid to non-powered? with all the money I have sunk into this car already I don't feel like spending $150 on the pull down module. sometimes it works and other times it doesnt then a swift bump to the area will kick it into working. I'm at wits end with it as well as with the car itself

I just powered it down to the hight I wanted and unplugged it
