parting out a 1st gen

What in total have you guys got for parting out a 1st gen??

Everything on it is good except the grill, windshield, and the paint.
 
I have never parted out a car.
Sorry to hear about another Mark being parted. At least, its good
to know that yours will extend life for another Mark.

But I'd like to get 1st dibs on your front marker lights.


Can you take tons of pictures of the entire car? You know, for us to see
the condition of what you are parting out.

Not much. You'll probably sell the seats and motors if they work, some trim, headlights, grille, other misc. stuff, engine/trans.... other than that, fill it full of metal and scrap it. I couldn't hardly sell anything off mine. But I didn't really care... car sat soo long everything was ruined
 
If it runs and drives its a $1500 car assuming little to no body dammage. For parts you may get $1000.
 
Sell it whole you will get more that way unless you sit on parts for 5 years till they all sell.
 
If it runs and drives, sell it whole. You'll get $1500 after a year of selling parts. 1st gens don't have enough expensive parts.
 
you wont get :q:q:q:q parting it out these days, 10 years ago you would make a killing, now forget it. sell it whole. someone here will take it i am sure, always room for a project.
 
Weren't you just asking about dumping a ton of money into performance parts for this car?
