I have this code that seems to appear every 600 miles. Clearing it works and then eventually shows up. Have to spend time in the next few days if I need a new cat or just a sensor (downstream 02 sensor) issue.

I watched a Scotty Kilmer video and he washed a cat out in a bucket using detergent saying the codes can appear when as little as 5% drop of cat efficiency.

I've watched Scotty Kilmer too, that's a cool trick with the detergent. I've read over examples of your problem lincolnelite, majority of the time it will be an O2 sensor. If the car has over 80k on it both sensors should be changed. Its kind of like if one headlight bulb burns out the next one is inline to do so. I did a littler research for you, based on this P0430 code they say upstream O2. I'll post both links below. I hope this helps you. Let us know.

I tried the Scotty Kilmer detergent wash on my friend's 2006 Suzuki Forenza with 116k miles, it simply didn't work. Once your cat is toast I don't think a detergent could fix it (Eric the Car Guy also debunked that claim)
P0420 and P0430 are all related to downstream 02 sensors (they monitor the cats for emission purposes) the upstream ones are very important since they are the ones that provides Air/Fuel ratio to the ECM and they don't give that codes.
I've cleaned the MAF and see if it shows up again, I can't recall when was the last time I've cleaned it.
