V8 started running rough after I put 17.6 gallons of 87 octane in it by accident (was talking to a buddy and not paying attention). Acted like a misfire and lacked power. CEL was lit. Pulled the codes and it listed a P0358, but no cylinder showed a misfire. The car has the factory extended warranty on the valve cover and the coils. Could it be bad gas causing the issue and it will cease once I run that fuel through? Vehicle has 73K on it and has run like a champ until I put the lower octane in. Coincidence or not? If it is the coil, which cylinder is the "H" Primary?
Thanks,

87 prolly has nothing to do with this. Coincidence. Im guessing a simple coil failure. Which one is anyones guess, despite what the CEL says. Our normal course of action on this forum is to replace them all with ones from ebay. Usually change the plugs at the same time while we are there
