Found this searching in another thread that was getting kind of long, so I figured it best to start another.

Is the consensus that it is OK or NOT to use these Moog sway bar links that have the bend in the middle?

"from rockauto.com
MOOG Part # K8635 Sway Bar Link Kit; Sway Bar Link
Frt Susp $44.99"

This would be for a 98 LSC that is stock except for the coil spring kits.

I really appreciate everyone's help with my recent questions. I am getting ready to do some suspension work.

IMO... it doesn't matter. I have the moogs in my car and they are fine. If there were a problem, moog wouldn't make them any more.

I've had the moog bent ones die in a couple thousand miles, the straight trw are in mine and lasers, no problems...
If you have a fax machine, I could even save you some money.

By that same logic GM would stop making trucks, LG would stop making appliances, SCP would stop selling controll arms amd octomom would have stopped getting preggors.
