Tentative Schedule of Events

This is our 5th meet let's do it up good ... looking for some ideas send me PMs or start a discussion...

Friday July 16th - 12:00 PM-7:00 PM Meet Drink and Be Merry on Mespock's Front Porch with Pepperman (as we wait and watch members arrive) Maybe a surprise visit from a Search Nazi .. as you never know who may show up ... maybe PeteSweet ... LOL or the BigApple LOL I dare him ..

7:00 - 9:00 PM - LvC Beach Party Quest!!! (will be explained at the meet LOL).... Can't wait to share this with you LOL : hint - Not a poker walk but will make the poker seem lame... LOL

9:00 till Chicken goes to bed - Fire, Refreshments, and Good Company .....


Saturday July 17th

8:00 AM Coffee at Timberlane Coffee Shop -
9:00 AM Breakfast at the Unique Cafe'
12:00 Noon Meet at Kronshage Park Special 5th year Presentation
1:00 PM Car Cruise
6:00 PM Dinner - Location ???
8:00 PM Evening Activities ???? Still working on these.

All it takes is one Wedding and the motels in Boscobel will fill So make your reservations early to guarantee your room. No Credit Cards will be charged until date of event

I'll be blocking rooms at the River Inn (608-375-8000) for LvC, other Boscobel motel is the Sands Motel 608-375-4167

So book your rooms early. (and remember Boscobel is a city of only 3,000 people so we don't have many motels. Next closest is about 10 miles away at the Fennimore Hills 608-822-3281)

Once again my back yard is free for those wanting to save some money and camp out.
Those wanting to arrive earlier are welcome, same with those wanting to stay longer (as long as it's not permanent LOL).

I'll have a sign up soon...

If so why didn't he travel back in time before he died....gesh hotties!!!!

I have my room reserved!!!! I am counting the days!
 
if my pos is fixed by then and it doesnt interupt my plans camping next year in nearby baraboo/reedsburg i'm in.
 
I should be able to make this one, missed the last one. My Mark is turning into a big pile of rust though. At least the engine is "new". Cant believe I am approaching 50k on that 3k (when installed) engine...
 
I will most definetly try to be there...The power tour comes my way this year as well.
 
Im going to say Probably. Might make a friend come with his car too and show you guys how a 4 door saloon is really supposed to be built...
 
once again its on Car craft summer nationals weekend I will not make it
I will be at the show (Car Craft) all 3 days
its one of the biggest shows in the country i cant miss it sorry
 
The days off for this Party have been secured i even made sure that i have a travel day. :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool:
 
unity, you need to get a beater dd, i see your car out by the tanning salon, you need a rear tail light? i think urs is broken if i am correct? otherwise just park it for winter and drive a beater
 
I added the Cruise route and Friday's activity ... I'm still working on Saturday Night's Dining ... There is talk that some of the main street businesses may want to close down part of main street for a street party. I'll be talking shortly with these businesses to see what we can get going, or if we can get something going. ...

Oh and if anyone has some suggestions for the meet .... post your ideas ... I'll think about them and take them into consideration.

Oh and when you look at the cruise route you will notice that it starts in Iowa. Because the Car Ferry which crosses the Mississippi River isn't listed in Google Maps I can't run the route across the river at Cassville. Sometimes the Ferry does not run if it's too windy so I'll have an alt. plan for the cruis route just in case. There is a fee to cross at the Ferry of $13 to take the Ferry ... let me know if this is too much.

It takes us to Wildcat Mountain State Park which is just a great ride and follows the Kickapoo River Valley, and would include a stop at the World Famous Rockton Bar (sorry the Rockton Bar website is under constructions ... maybe you'll see it soon).
 
I would love to come. So there is room to camp in the yard? I would definitaly be interested. I will talk to the wife in he morning. Instead of 3 trips to the lake, just this with no kids. She'll love it.
