I got the "old" factory Lincoln star emblems off this morning thanks to a little help from fellow members. Got the new RED Lincoln star emblems installed. I am using red as an accent color. The calipers, pinstripe, cone filter, and emblems are red. That is it. No more red. What do you think?

I see the chrome bracket that the emblem fits on on the trunk doesn't sit flush on your car either. Glad I'm not the only on who has that issue.

I like the pinstripe a lot, but honestly I think the emblems look cheap. Maybe it's just the photo.

The emblems are held on withdouble sided 3M tape. Trimmed it up with an exacto-knife for a perfect fit.
:lol: They are CHEAP $10 chrome oval tips from AutoZone. I welded them on. I scrape just a bit backing out of my driveway. I didn't want to spend a lot for tips I would be scraping or dragging from time to time. These are the second set in three years.

Mostof the LS's I have seen have that problem too.
Yep. Both of mine have had that issue. It's some sort of plastic rivet that breaks off. Poor design.

I have the red emblems also, so of course I like them.
Not big on the decals in the rear window. Just not the look but it is inventory list of thing a person could get by breaking in or steeling your car.

Sponsors want return on their product investment. If it was left up to me I wouldn't have them at all. BUT its a small price to pay to get FREE stuff. I plan to remove them and do something different with them. I just don't want them on my paint.
Well... in that case... plaster those bastards all over!!
