My Mirrors...

My mirrors have been preped so far, the base's were made out of Lexan and I stuck black vinyl over the triangle for now. I got one side on and it looks nice, I dont care what people say it looks good. The other will be going on and I will be takeing pics soon. Remember, if I get pics of them now it is only the prep work. I will be takeing the Idea that someone gave me a while back and make new base's out of a thicker lexan then fiberglasing over it to give it a true factory look again.

My only prob is the headlight timer dont work with my factory mirrors wires dissconected. I need to take it appart and find what it is that enables this feture disconect the motor from the wires and keep everything else tucked away in the door somehow, at least that is what Im thinking I may have to do. My mirrors that I am puting on are not power but have directional leds in amber. I will maybe figgure out away to put the motors back in these new mirrors or find motors from another car that will have one that may fit.

One other thing, it will look "perfect" when I drop the car to the ground. ( or at least close to it )

On another note, where can I find weather stripping that fits like the window strip? I mean the "T" shaped stuff, I of course will need this also to cover up small imperfections around the edge and keep out moisture.

I'm no help on the weather stripping source unless JCWhitney has some.

They look a bit to small I have both of them on now as the baby took a nice long nap and I drank alot of coffee, but i think once the car gets hunkered down either on cut eibachs or air bags they will fill out. They almost give that raised look like that car on Miami vice that limited gt1 or what ever it was plus they like I said are only in the prepping stages so when i get pics dont think its cheap just yet wait till its done then make decisions please. I know the base that I made now looks like crap but I even wrote on them with a white out pen prep work only ...LOL

I also think just as a back up if I dont like these I will be fabbing some led turns in my factory mirror now that they are off but they will be much different than quicks. Not that I dont like them I do but i want to do a bit more original things as that is all we have to work with seeing the after market is void for this Car. Quite frankly Im glad to a point cause I hate them Damn chrome wanna be Alteza euro lights and I bet every fake tuner or what have you ( ricer..I dont like the term) would have them on there Ls's and just like the civics, thats all they will add and act like they gaind 100,009,000 Horse power. I just wish there was nicer bodykits.

HAHA these things look so damn cool, but i got a problem. they are pointless I cant see the passenger side mirror at all LOL and when I hit about 130 on the highway to test them out the driver side moved. the wind pushed it down all the way flush with my window sill.

AHHHHHHHHH, I know it is . Its just that my stupid cameras driver device :q:q:q:qs busted. Ill get some up by tonight I promise guys. It pisses me off really bad that I cant show any pics.

Its gunna be like my last pics tho, its gunna have to be from a dumb ass dissposable put on disc.
