Mounting GPS antenna

:wrench I have a 2002 Conti fully loaded. I just purchased Pioneer AVIC-6200 NEX and it comes with a GPS antenna. Pioneer recommends you use their GPS antenna and not a 3rd party aftermarket.

If there is any of you Conti's that have an aftermarket navigation system, where are you mounting the antenna? Roof top near the back glass? Truck lid? I think the Sirrius service might also have an antenna also.

I don't now much about continental but if there is a metal bracket above the the radio in the dash mount it to that. I did it in my ls and the gps works great.

Thanks. I'll remove my radio and look for a mount. I'll also remove my front deck lid to see if I can mount it also.
