Keep the jokes to a minimum haha. I'm looking into getting a bra for the front end of my 96 lsc. I need pics though i cannot find any, the only company making them is Covercraft (89.99 model MM42010)-no pics anywhere.

Also anyone have blackout headlight covers for a 93-96 Mark? I know the whole lighting issue, but i like that look, had the same thing done on my 95 tbird. Do they even make these?

Please post pics or links if you know of any, thanks.

i have never heard or seen any black out covers for the headlights. dont see how they would stay in place either.

Front end was in an accident, the shop replaced the front end with a 96 base-regular headlights and base bumper lol.

that's what the previous owner told me.

thats funny i was thinking about the same thing(tinted headlight covers), i know 0n my 88 white xr7 couger they looked pretty good. i think if i remember right it was called GT-STYLING head light covers, you can also find headlight & tailight tint or film.....peace

GTS is the company i usually see making them....not sure if they make them for the mark....then again there is a mark viii tha has black outs.....its a certain shade of yellow....but i'm not saying anything else about it

While we are on the subject

does anyone have pics of a gen 2 (black maybe) with blacked out head and taillights?

I wouldnt buy the covers, just take them to a place that does something like lamin-x.com and get them tinted.

all you need to do is buy some clearcoat and some black paint and drop a few drops of black paint into the clearcoat and spray the housings. if its not enough spray another coat and continue until you are happy.

I tinted mine about 5 years ago with window tint film. It looked awesome, but was horrible to drive with. The light were already messed up, so the window tint made it seem like I was driving with no lights on. I would NOT reccommend under any circumstances that you tint your headlights.

I used the nightshades on my tail light on my vic. If i were to do it again, I would do it the way Jamie had discribed. Nightshades is cheap, looks cool, and is removeable with laquer thinner.
