I just purchased the MB 57020 Chrysler part.

In checking depth of the shank it is too long by 1/8 maybe. Have not checked with mic yet. Anyone have any tnoughts.

Wheel is 17" factory chrome and uses those stupid capped nuts.

lug nut

I found that if I removed the washer from original lug nut and used as spacer on Chry part it does no longer bottom out. Have been running a couple of days now with no problem.

The Dorman version (from rock auto) has the washer. Would've expected the dealer version to have it.

i bought the GORILLA 73138T and had the same issue but was prepared for it. simply used a grinder to reduce the length of the shank. took off about 1/16" and no problems. if you have access to a grinder or belt sander you could do the same.

keep in mind that the stock lug nut wrench will not work with these nuts. Gorilla makes a nice adapter.

I bought part # MB 579290. Maybe that's the problem with your's?

Check this post of mine comparing the stock LS lug nut to the MB part #. Longer shank, but still seats.
