I got an issue with my mark.
A few days ago, I jumped in the Mark, fired it up and it started sputtering and running very rough at about 5-600 rpms or less and then died all in about 20 seconds. I thought that was odd, but maybe just cold or something.
Today I get in to head to lunch and it starts to drop idle and sputter, I quickly give it a bit of throttle to about 2gs and it drops back down to 500rpms and feels like it was going to stall again, I held it at about 1200-1500 for a few seconds and afterwards it was all good again.
So whats the deal?
I have changed the plugs to autolite Plats but have not done the wires yet because I have been broke and want to buy a good set.
Any ideas on what may have caused this and Im taking advice on a good wire set, I'd like to stay with a red set and keep it below $60.00 or close to it.

 mine was doing this too... great something else to fix while I have it apart

If it were me, I'd look for ANYTHING else before I just threw (good luck with that) an IAC in-check air filter, clean the throttle body and MAP sensor, do the wires (good luck getting a decent set for under $60 BTW). Infamous crank sensor? TPS (also a PITA, but not as bad as the IAC). And the vacuum leak possibility.

Crank? cheap and easy? Sounds like a party! I couldnt pass that up.

Ill check it out when I get a couple days off, its only happened twice so far in three days.
