Little Plastic Tubes, what r they?

Ok so this thread is mainly for michiganteddybear since hes gonna hook me up with replacements but I still wanna know what these r for.

I broke these while sitting on my engine doing my tuneup.

Here goes, the tubes are circled in red.


I also have arrows showing where they go on the engine.

Considering..............

Considering that they make a connection to a valve that goes into the exhaust, I believe that they are EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve related. I believe that at idle, the valve is open and allows a small amount of burnt gases to recirculate through the intake. At wide open throttle and high load situations, the vacumn goes low and the valve closes and no more exhaust goes into the intake. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken.

the broken line is I believe to be the vacuum source for the egr valve... I do have it avail on the parts car..
