I have just come across this shiny piece:)

The current owner says he buys few old cars per year, shipping them from US, from private owners.

He claims this nice Conti has a real millage of 67 oryginal miles, and that an old chap livining in New Yersey sold him this one...

The price seems to be quite atrractive - he calls only 8500$

What do you guys think?

New York / New Jersey is the heart of the "rust belt" area. I would want to see the underside of that car. There isn't any rust in the engine picture which is a good sign but I'd have to see the rest of it before deciding.

I also want to add a 70s Continental to my driveway one day. I'm thinking anywhere between 1975 and 1979 depending on the car. I don't know why I want one -- I just really like their design.

Yes it is! I live down the shore, so I see all kinds of rust from salt in the air, and from salting the roads. I just had the line that went from the power steering pump to the cooler rust through, and I put a temporary stop on it until I can get in and fix it when I free up some time. this picture below is a good example, but was a lot worse in person, of a car I was looking at to buy, but it was a big rust bucket!
