I had a flat tire today so I went to put on my donut. I noticed the notches where you are supposed to jack the car up... and I noticed someone has jacked it up along the rail and bent the metal. How serious is this? Should I be worried?

I also did this last week. Love the way it sounds and it's definitely more responsive.

Hit it with a good etching rust-inhibiting paint like rustoleum and leave well enough alone. I doubt it's tweaked the car as much as it just looks dumb. Seen this happen a bunch of times where someone doesn't know what a jack-point looks like. Dented floor pans, bent suspension arms, etc. Just be glad they didn't try to do a cross-member lift on this car.

A pictures says a thousand words. This says one "dumba$$".

Yeah something like, the jack kicked out or something not really sure, it happened rather fast. All I knew is the jack went up the door.... Oh well have a new door now

I noticed this on my Ls when I first got it as well....some people I tell ya!
