Internal air temp too cold or too hot

04LSV6 78000 miles,

The automatic climate control doesn't seem to be working properly. The internal air is very cold when the temperature is set anywhere from 60 to 79. When it's set to 80 the heat will kick in and it's very hot.

Also it blows very cold air when I click off the AC button, usually this is the outside air/vent setting.

Has anyone experienced this same issue? What was the fix and approximate cost?

Sounds like you may have an issue in the control panel. I've heard of others with similar issues, but haven't myself, so cost I have no clue on.

Might do a search for the climate control self test and see if the control panel has any trouble codes stored.
