Just installed a Throttle body in my 97 conti and its revs are a bit too high at around 1400-1500 rather than around 800. Any ideas on what I can do to bring them back down to normal?

Could start by checking any leaking hoses/fuel filter,or check if the IAC needs to be cleaned or replaced. Those are some starting points.

+1 except that seems a bit high even if the IAC is wide open.

I go with the last touched, first suspected rule, something messed up in the throttle install. Why was it done? Seems like a goofy thing to replace.
