My Mark was idleing @ 450-500 you'd have to feather the gas pedal to get moving & still it might stall, I mentioned that here, someone as always, answers a question, and believe me it was appreciated, BUT, does anyone besides Mike know how PHUCKING hard it is to replace. ITS A KILLER, but its done............. guess what, IT DIDN'T WORK !!!!! I'm really thinking selling the car. There are NO easy repairs on this car.The stupid check engine light is still ON. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Ok STOP LAUGHING

Disconnect your battery for an hour, reconnect and see what happens...

Cylinder Identification Circuit Failure

My bet is the Camshaft Position Sensor (CPS). About $10-15 at Advance Auto, Zone, etc.

Worth taking a stab at it for the money and an easy DIY to see if it takes care of the issue.

Also check your wires going into the connector that clips on to the sensor. May have a loose wire.
