Ok. I took a look under my master cylinder thursday after the chat, couldnt really find anything? This is my 93 and I wanna disco. that cruise switch so I don't blow up.

I smelled burning outside of work (we think its the blower motor in the ac that blew last month)

Then I smelled burning on this street a few blocks over, then I smell it again now on my street/in my driveway.

I'm getting a little paranoid, where is this switch? Also in one of my pics I labeled the uca bolt so you can see that the pic is taken from the drivers side wheel well, through the hole I made to replace my uca haha.

Post # 15 to see location on 93, relative to everything else. Not sure why you have damp, but when you disconnect the switch have a look/feel around it to see if its leaking.

Anyway, gotta go and watch ''mirrors'' Lol. Let us know how it went!

I was gonna go watch mirrors but my gf won't because she smells the burning in the neighborhood. Right now theres no smell anywhere haha, but now shes inside

eh i dont wanna be a hypocrite but i havnt taken mine in for the recall because i hear the dealer near me has a bad rep. but if you smell burning def bite the bullet

As far as horrors go, not bad. Definitely worth a watch!

Yeah, have a look in the daytime - you might then be able to see where that damp has come from.

Edit: Now that i have had time to look at your photos, i think i can see the block that the cruise switch is attached to in your second pic.

That damp is above. Could be an old spillage or possibly a leak in / around the master cylinder?

Ok I see where it is, I'll be changing my oil (for some reason its horribly dirty?) tomorrow and I'll unplug it from underneath.

Update: A large junkyard in a different city burned down. The smell was all over the place, my car didn't blow up!

lol good to hear you got it disconnected and your car didnt burn, as for the recall, id still take it in, there is a jumper harness to put a band aid over the problem
