how many sensors

Going to change 02 sensors tomorrow on 2000 LS V6 friend of mine told me that it has 3 now the guy at autozone telling me 4, how many 02 sensors does it really have

True. The front two are sensors the back two are monitors. It took me all of 30 minutes to change them out.

well on mine the front are AIR fuel sensors or lambdas.... and the rear are Ho2s... that monitor the switching rate from the air/fuel or lambda sensors... to monitor the cat converters

The two rear sensors may be monitors, but all four of them are listed as oxygen sensors on Team Ford's site. The part numbers (and prices) differ between the front and rear sensors.
