help with misterious coolant leak!

The other day after at work i noticed a leak on my car what it looked to be coolant with water, i had gotten to work and left about 4-5 hrs after, thats when i noticed the leak, it left a good pile of coolant with water. I have checked for more leakes after that and it looks like it is not doing it anymore, just that one time, what do you guys think happened? is it a warning that something is going bad? shoudl i take it to the mechanics to get it checked?

Check the coolant pump; there's often a "weep hole" that will start leaking when the pump is starting to fail.

Since it quit, check your puke tank. See if it's got a leak. Was the leak located under it?
