Factory exhaust size piping 93 mark viii

What is the factory exhaust size pipe on a 1993 mark viii?
I want to keep the factory pipes , replace the 3rd cat with a
Magnaflow muffler 2 in 1 out & remove the rear mufflers.
Will this set up sound nice with minimum drone?

I have 2 into 1 on my Blown Cougar... the setup above was 3 inch single and now it's 4 inch with a race muffler added in the rear. Sorry but I can't seem to find pics of the present setup but it works well... on my Mark I will do a dual setup.

Thats what mine is but with headers also so I got the 2 1/2" in and out and 2 1/2' all the way back. It is loud but to date it does not drone. The stock pipes are smaller but I'm not sure what size. I sure at the biggest 2 1/4" but It looked to me possibly even smaller. I picked this video because it is a solo run. There are more videos. if you look under my post you can hear mine with dual 2.5 pipes with only a magnaflo x muffler. at idle you just hear it a tad. On the freeway it is quit but at wot it is pretty loud. It to me is perfect

I just remembered Burbank runs headers into a dual in with a 3 1/2" single out and makes 600 hp so a dual in and a 3" out should work great. Sound great also.
