a while ago i installed a avic x920bt. got subs in and everything. and its all been working great.
however, i have my subs tuned pretty low. and ive been missing some of that mid range base...and id like to hook up the "speaker subs" in the rear deck. i figure i can just use a line out funciton from the deck...but ive been having trouble finding where the wires for the amps signal are located.

For Gen1 LS, see post #44 (8-pin harness):

haha i found it...i guess i had hidden it away on myself as i wasnt using it.
one more quick question. is it necissary to hook up the amp turn on and ground wires that are apart of the wiring harness. currently i got the rca plugged in and 2 amp wires and 2 ground wires hanging loose off the adapter.

Yes use should hook those up, as they provide the power and ground to the two factory amps for center & subs.

You will need to add a 1K (1000 -1500) ohm resistor (or one of these that I used) to avoid the pop when the amp turns on, between the remote amp turn-on output from your headunit and the turn-on input power wire to the factory amp(s)...

I guess you could try it without, add it later if needed... as some get the pop and others haven't. I think it's more common to get a pop then not when the factory amp turns on.
