Im replacing the exhaust on my 86 mark and have been considering buying an H-pipe and cat-back for a mustang and then modifying it to fit the Lincoln. I was just wondering what fitment issues exist and what modifications I will need to make.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Look at JBA -1624-2JT to Magnaflow - 93332 to Magnflow - 15632
think X-pipe ,mod to fix.

Thanks for the part numbers, i'll check them out. What I really need to know though is what mods actually need to be done to fit the mustang exhaust system onto the lincoln. Do I just need to lengthen the pipe between the h-pipe and the mufflers, will the mustang tail pipes fit without modifications?

Thanks again for any help/advice you might have.

Before the muffler 5-8 in pipe extent , after the muffler you might want go to with 2in diameter pipe because of the rear curve, for looks stay with the 2in pipe to the end add Borla 20108 polished tips. this is a high flow X pipe mod.

Thanks. Will mustang tailpipes work, or would it be more cost effective to have custom pipes bent up?
