Not only what does she DO, but what were the qualifications? :) How many years of schooling does one have to go thru to become a "Nameplate Engineer"? She must have moved thru the ranks by 1st scribbling on a notepad...submitting her recommendations, then having a committee vote on her New & Improved design for the cars. For some Lincoln enthusiasts, it's just more "stuff" they've got to debadge once they get their new cars :)

Geesh, and you wonder why cars cost so much?!

I used to work on the assembly line making the Ford T'birds back in 1979. At that time I was hired on OFF THE STREET...spent NO time "training", and was in their Quality Control Dept checking cars for some electrical components as they came down the line earning $12+ per hour! That was back in the day when they actually PAINTED pinstripes on cars :) ...pretty neat process that they had BTW to see 'em do that!
