Englishtown is open for the season!! Who is up for racing this Wednesday?!?! I'm going to bring my pig out and see if she can beat a 14.5 pr...............croocked tail pipes and all!!!!

March is the best time of year to get to e-town (for a 13+second car)!!

I want to see dlf's cars in person!! I might trade my 02 vette for his SC! :)

Tommy-my mark viii in NJ in March will run times you only dream about in Texas! :)

Ken

Maybe...

I don't usually go on Wednesday, it's for bangers. :p

I won't be able to bring three cars, though, which one do you want to see? ;)

Fork'ed river DLF - I want to see either the Mark or the SC for a test and tune night at e-town!!

You can see your Stang or my Vette everyday there...........MN12's are fun to see!!!

You'd be suprised how few 12 second 96-98 Cobra's I see there.....

But, it'll probably be the LSC, the SC is on the lift getting a larger intake plenum, injectors, and methanol injection at the moment. Then I have to re-tune it. ;)

Are you going for sure? I don't want to show up, and be alone. :(

I'm 99% in for a Wednesday test and tune at e-town. I usually end up going by myself this time of year. March is the best time of the year for this car to put down a PR. If your super pretty LSC is going to be there I'm in!!! My LCS is my DD and won't be anywhere near as clean as yours..............but she'll run good, and I know how to drag Mark VIII's!! :) She's already put down a 14.4 with just exhaust! My Vette is my pretty car (Steve has seen her).............the vette's still in storage until April/May.

I'm excited to have my LSC make a couple of rips down the track!!

My Vette runs 12.8 and that is a dime a dozen at the track............they all run that and faster. Not to say that still isn't fun! :)

E-Town in March is my favorite time of year!!!!!

Tomorrow I will confirm my 99% to 100%!! Really I just need to put down a time that Tommy just can't do in Texas! :) E-town, sea level, 40-degrees........the best combo for a Mark and it ain't happening for Tommy in Texas. :)

Ken the DA at my favorite track was -600 ft this weekend.

Two weeks ago, it was negative -2100 feet

Keep DREAMING JERRRRSIE BOY!
LoL

What you dont realize.. is our tracks are only closed a MAX of 14 days for winter...
Keep dreamin'.. our tracks open Jan 4th!

We've been racing for months, and your just getting out of the garage??
(joking smile)

Does this mean your track is growing?! How high will it be next week? lol :) What is the actual altitude of your track? E-town and Acto, my closest tracks, are both about sea level.

DLF - I'm 100% in for racing this Wednesday....weather forecast looks good! Of course we'll have to call the track to make sure it is open that day....in case weather dips below 40 at 5pm.

Anybody else want to race at e-town?

Ken

I cant this Wed but I will definitely be out there this season. Plus Wed is hard for me. If I don't leave work early I have to fight traffic through NYC to get there.

i might come out and watch you run. my car isnt running right now so ill just have to sit.

OK, I'll be there @ 5.

Actually, it's 2 p.m. when it needs to be above 40 degrees.

If they are open, I'm down. I would like to get an alignment tomorrow before i try to get above 80mph. :D Other than that, i'll bring the fender and maybe the diff.

Lucky bastards! :(

Pittsburgh doesn't open 'til April and Mason Dixon in MD still had snow on the ground this past weekend. :(

Arghhh... doesn't matter - don't have no track wheels or tires yet anyways. I have some rears coming but it's gonna take a day of grinding the calipers to fit and I have no idea what to do for the fronts. :shifty:

Jeez I'm jealous of the DA's you guys get... the best I've ever seen here is 3600ft - not when the track was open, at about 4am on the coldest day of the year during a snowstorm when I called the airport automated weather station...

I miss that track...

Dammit, just got back from Jersey with my Mark. I grew up in Hazlet. Hung at the track all the time since the 70's. My buddies still go to the Nationals every summer (without me). Wish we had a track like that here. My old ride here would attract as much attention in the pits as a Top Fuelers back in the day!

Not exactly sure which car I'll be in. I'm trying to get the SC ready, but if I can't, I'll be there in the LSC.
