I was curious as to which of the 8797 06 LSs mine was. All I can find is that the last 6 digits of the VIN are the production sequence. Lincoln starts with 600000, the last 6 digits of my VIN are 619915. Obviously I dont have all of the info requred to decode this. The internets have been no help either.

Never realized that's how few were made in '06. I checked my workshop manuals hoping for something to no avail.

Thanks for the link. I found that website earlier, and when I plug in my vin is just sayd 12th-17th charactor is production sequence number. I wish it was more specific.

There is no rhyme or reason to the sequence of the last 6 digits in regards to a specific model. It is the sequence of which car came off the line when. There could be 5 Town Cars, 2 LSes, 3 Town Cars, 5 LSes, etc. The sequence numbers are mixed in between the models. Been there, watched that.
