I have been through dozens of websites, read plenty on the causes of an overheating 2003 LS V8 so I am going through every possibility. I just have one question I was hoping someone could shed some light...
I am attempting to bleed my cooling system as I have recently replace the radiator hose assembly. I now need to bleed the cooling system. The heater air bleed tube besides my overflow tank has a plastic tip that has a groove for what looks to be used with a flat head screwdriver. Excuse my ignorance here but is the plastic supposed to come out of the rubber tube to bleed or is there a special rotation that lets out the entrapped air?
