Well I reset it with my code reader. Drove it this am came on again 2 times my reader said. My reader also was flashing the cat button. Does the 412 have something to do with the cad converter?

Well went to the shop down the road and they told me I have a fuse out will let you know.

Ok FYI It was a 30 amp fuse blown in the fuse panel in the engine compartment

no. pretty standard to fuse things that require power.

good find Jeff, i tore all that shit out of my 96 and never looked back.

i have a 96 and won't fix what ain't broken, but if you ripped everything out, what exactly did you do? Did it set the CEL? I remember back in the dark ages (70's) when air pumps first came out, we'd remove the belt and the pump, any solinoids or actuators and would plug or block the hose going to the exhaust manifold. It rarely set off any check engine light (if it even had one back then) but if you did that now, wouldn't the ecm look for that system? 96 is OBDII so I'd have to think you'd have to find a way to disable the air pump in the ecm to avoid the CEL. What did you do? thanks

i do have a CEL, but i also no cats, no rear O2s, no IMRCs, and no EGR.
so amid all that, i haven't looked to see if it caused a light.
but i don't think it did.
