This video is for the removal of the radio from a 2002 Thunderbird but the radio section is essentially the same as the LS and follows the same process. May be intimidating at first but it is actually fast and easy.

Removing the radio is super easy in the ls . Pretty much just pry off a few plastic pieces and unscrew the philips screws and presto . Done !
