Chris...my wife's Aviator has a Ford dealer upgrade alarm on it that I installed. It's a pretty good alarm for the price, but it has it's quirks. Programming is a bitch. It has a two step warning. The first is if it detects a light "intrusion" and the second is a full blown detection. If the first goes off, you get a light beep of the horn. The second of course is the regular alarm going off. The problem with her car is we are having a difficult time programming the first setting. Anytime a large truck drives by, it beeps. Even someone shutting a car door next to it and make it beep. If it's the same type of system (Code Alarm?) you may want to see if the dealer can reset the first step and not make it so sensitive. If that's the actual problem that is....
