Ok I know that sounds like a simple call for Viagra but, that's not what can't stay up.

My buddy's '94 Mark VIII drops after sitting for awhile. Before he purchased it it did have this problem. The dealer replaced the passanger regulator on the air ride system and rechecked the air bags. The bags were not leaking and the Car seemed to stay up.

I told my buddy that it may be he needs to replace the other regulator on the drivers side. (I'm not sure the correct term on the regulator that's what they called it at the dealership)

Am I on the right track with him or is there something else he should check.

The car does stay up for awhile at least an hour before it drops.

there is a small leak somewhere.

Check the bags first...........Dont assume its not them, thats the most likely place.

does it stay up while the car is on? does the whole car drop or just the front or rear? Sounds like a leak in one of the bags, or a relay/compressor problem.

Have him start the car and let the bags air up to ride height, then have him shut the switch off in the trunk. Shut the car off and see if the car still drops. If it does, it's time for new bags.

Shame it's not a Mark VII ... I'd just suggest one of these two to four hours before driving:
