Recently changed the air filter out, put it all back together hit the button to reset it but it did nothing.I took it all apart again and turned it around (thinking i had it backwards or something) but still nothingup ive changed it before and it worked

Any body had this happen to them ?

You have to hit the reset button twice. The orientation of the filter has nothing to do with the warning message.

Oh yeah, and the warning light has nothing to do with the condition of the filter, either. I've reset my message twice and still have the same filter in there.

Me too. Although the last time I did take the filter out and bang it on my shoe a couple times to get any dust out.

LOL. I hardly ever use my AC and it just started telling me I needed to change it, I pulled it out and while it had some dirt on it, it was nowhere near needing to be replaced.

I as well as other members like to spray Febreze on the filter before replacing it. It gives your car a nice scent. I prefer Febreze auto in the gray and black spray bottle.
