so been looking for a slightly newer replacement for my 96 ford xcab powerstroke for something
a bit bigger and more comfy. been searching for a 2002 or 2003 f350 lariat powerstroke an FINALLY
found one that fit me and my budget. bought a 2002 f350 crew cab long bed, with 193k miles
on it. had a full replacement bumper with winch, headache rack, and busted rain guards on the
windows, an a seto f 35x12.50 mud tires on the stock rims ( which were hella big and rubbed everywhere ).

i took the bumper off ( sold for $450 ), removed the headache rack ( sold for $250 ), bought a set of
factory size tires, found a factory front bumper, and took the headache rack off. conditioned the leather
twice, replaced the hpop, changed oil, coolant, and trans fluid. runs like a top, and looks TONS better
in factory form. it does have a 3" lift, which i dont mind at all. anyway, here's a before pic, and after.
...and a pic of my old obs that i sold for $4500.

Nice truck
Looks good with the factory bumper
I think the tires need to be a little bigger than stock to fill the wheel gap a bit.

yeah, agree. it has a 3" lift on it, but i'm going to be towing fairly regularly, so i opted
for a standard e rated tire size this time around. in a year or so, an 8" lift will go on
with a nice set of 20's :)
