ABS issue... no search results for this one

I replaced my two front wheel speed sensors, but the ABS light is still on and the check traction control message is still on. So I went and had the code read and it is telling me there is an open circuit on the left front wheel. I just tried reconnecting the sensor and re-seating it, but to no avail. Is there any way to test the pig tail where the sensor connects to the harness to see if there is current there?

I PM'd joegr earlier about this and he replied about my question but I don't want to bother him again.... so I am looking to all of you for help.

Keep in mind that I am a proponent of the search function but did not find it there and I have a good sense of humor.... oh and I own a kick ass LS

This is for gen II, but gen I should be similar.
