So I just took my LS on a nice vacation. Put just under 4900 miles on her. Was slightly worried about gas when I left, but that slowly diminished after a good tank or two. About all my highway tanks I averaged between 26-29MPG. I was so shocked. In fact, on the way home I logged in a good 470 miles on one fill up. Still spent a pretty penny with gas prices as high as they were in California, but oh well. The car was great. Ran fine, absolutely no problems, which worried me since I had 4 coils go bad a couple months ago. When I was visiting my Rents I installed a new McLaren Grill (thanks KEN!) & new pads & rotors. Installed EBC Rotors with Hawk HPS pad's. Slightly disappointed in the pads. They squeal mad crazy, but no dust. On the way back I traveled through the Rockies & even up through the elevation she did great. I set the cruise control @ 75-80ish & she just went. Very rarely dropped out of overdrive to make up a hill. Just the extremes which was nice also. Any who, just wanted to share a bit. Ill drop in a few pictures of the car in places.

29.4MPG @ 85MPH! At the end it actually averaged out to about 28.4MPG in the end.

Nice mpg...that is a six, right? If its a V8, please tell us how you tuned it to do that well. The best I have gotten is 23.0, with my 04.

I was gone for 3 weeks & nope. Its a V8. No tune. All I have done to it is a KKM Intake. A lot of my driving was done at 75ish, but at the current time we sped it up a little bit wanting to be done with things. The 29.4 MPG slowly dropped when at 85MPH though..
