97-98 price

I am pretty sure I want a gen II mark VIII LSC and I keep an eye on autotrader (I'm leaning heavily to a charcoal... otherwise black). While I unfortunately almost never see a charcoal Mark (let alone LSC), I do see a few black LSC's. What is a fair price for an LSC w/50-70K miles in very good condition? From looking at autotrader and NADA, I'm thinking I'd want to keep it under $7500... this seem about right? Unfortunately, I'm not going to be ready to buy for several months but... no harm in shopping.

Yeah I don't think you'll need to spend more than $7500 on it.

If buying a Gen II try to get the 98 better transmission. Be patient and don't just jump on the first one.

$7500 for a 98 is far if in excellent condition. Many are going for less. Keep your eyes open. Also look for a southern car. Rust free is great....
