has anyone tried to use the 31 spline 2003 cobra axles in their mark? if so were they a direct bolt in affair,aside from the 31 spline diff change over?
Because you couldn't break the stock ones, even if supercharged, why waste the agg and money. Plus you could break the axel shaft but never tear it at the splines anyway.
They're still 28 spline by the hub.My brother has been pulling 1.5 60' times on stock 28 spline axles in his supercharged 98 LSC so there is no point to change them until they brake.If you have a manual trans then it's a different story.
