255/40zr18???

Anyone running this size on their LS? I'm rolling with Zyoxx ZX8's and 245/45/18's right now, I THINK I can clear 255's, but I'm not 100% sure. And I'm out of the country right now, so I can't just go whip out a tape measure.

Whats the offset? 255/40/18 will look ten times better then 245/45/18s. Should work.

All depends on the offset....running 255/35/19's on my fronts with no issues and 245/50/17's on my stockers for winter again with no issues.

If you are concerned about width this might help, I am running 255/45ZR17's on my LS with no problems. The wider tires look great!

Looks like the offset is 42, 18x7.5; seems it should work, but some of you are much better at this than myself.

wider tires = harsher ride (more surface area to pick up and transmit road imperfections ie bumps, tar strips, etc) worse mpg (more rolling resistance), and lower acceleration (more rolling resistance, heavier unsprung weight).

That said, they look good.

Running 245/40/18 on 8.5" wheel +38 offset, IMHO 255 might be too wide for a 7.5" wheel, that's what I like though. Tire comes flush to the rim of the wheel.
