Have just purchased 2006 ls v8 sport. Can anyone tell me what I should expect for gas milage. Car has only 22000 miles thats right 22000. Also where can I get lug nuts for factory chrome 17 inch wheel.:shifty:

I get 12-14 city with a heavy foot, cruising/highway Ive managed 23-25

Forget the stock lugnuts. They're terrible.
Replace all of them with the lugnut from a Sebring.
Part number is DORMAN 6111171 @ Rock Auto for about $2.60 a piece. Some other posts on here have the Crysler part number if you'd rather get them from a dealer. Search is your friend.
My '02 gets 16.3 MPG on my city commute, and I drive somewhat fast.
Use 91+ octane or else it'll ping.

I'm getting about 22.5 combined on mine. I hooked up an Ultra Gauge and it shows over 28mpg on long flat stretches at 70mph.

12-15 city and 22 to 26 highway...with 20" wheels, tune and CAI

I average 15.5-16mpg using 5W20 Pennzoil Ultra in Dallas traffic, ~26-27mpg on the highway going around 70. Also have a tune from Torrie.
May I ask how much did that LS set you back? Fully loaded? etc.

you can get the seebring lug nuts or go to ebay and buy the whole set for the LS for around 40 bucks thats what i did -- ebay is my best freind right now.

19.2 mpg combined for about 25K now. Car was bought with 49K now has 76K. On long highway trips it gets a little better.

As with most cars, the observed fuel mileage is more a function of the driver and his driving style than anything else. I've seen as low as ~16MPG (lots of idling) and as high as ~26MPG (long road trip), but my '06 usually runs 19-20MPG in mixed driving. I tend to drive more on the highway, but my morning commute is about ten miles with about 20 stoplights...

17-18 city and 24-28 highway
