Greetings all!
I recently purchased a 2004 LS Sport. 80k miles. I do a lot of traveling between Austin, TX and Phoenix, AZ (where I purchased the car), as well as a 600 mile loop around South Texas twice a month. My pickup truck is getting a lot of miles on it, and I was looking for something with more power and comfort.
The car spent its life in SoCal and Phoenix, so there are no rust issues. The Carfax came back clean, and I've always thought the LS was a particularly handsome vehicle.
Before I take it on the road, I've arranged to have a full service and replace some wear items (motor mounts, brakes, tires). Yes, I know maintenance on the LS is expensive, but I'm hoping the driving experience makes up for it. Just don't tell my wife.
I'm looking forward to participating in the forum and learning from those of you that have encountered and overcome various issues. Thanks.
